Veterans Health Administration Innovation Ecosystem (VHA IE) has launched a new initiative with Fitbit to help Veterans, caregivers and VA staff manage their health and wellness during the COVID-19 pandemic. VA encourages Veterans, caregivers and VA staff using Fitbit wearables to express their interest in participating in this opportunity by January 25, 2021.

Jesse Brown VA vaccine distribution

Jesse Brown is administering COVID-19 vaccines to Veterans who are patients of Jesse Brown who are 65 years old and older and in high-risk health categories as established by the CDC. As more doses of the vaccine becomes available, Veterans who are patients at Jesse Brown, and who are in high-risk categories, will be contacted to receive the vaccine, if they want it.

There is no list to get on for the vaccine. When Veterans are eligible based on their priority group, Hines will call them to let them know and schedule an appointment. Please encourage Veterans not to show up on campus. They need an appointment and will be outreached to schedule.
